FREE TASTER BEGINNERS CLASS

Come and enjoy one hour belly dance lesson with the UK's top teachers. Learn some iconic belly dance moves and challenge your body throughout an upbeat and fun class. Belly dance will help you stay in shape and will develop strength in your core muscles.

  • What to wear:
  • We recommend soft, comfortable clothes such as leggins or long skirts. The top can be short or long, you don't need to show your belly. We dance barefoot or with light slippers. Bring along a coin belt or a hip scarf, but don't panic if you don't have one, the teacher brings some on the class!

beginners (level 1) - oxford street

This course is perfect for absolute beginners and those with no prior belly dance experience. Here all the moves are broken down in an easy to learn way. You will enjoy dancing to the Oriental music and powerful and energetic beats of the drum. We strongly focus on technique and rhythm. We cover a large variety of basic movements and choreographies. During this course you will get a lot of one to one support from the teacher. This course will help you develop flexibility, fluidity of movement and core muscle strength, and you will also improve your posture. Once you and your teacher are confident about your skills you can move up to the next level.
